About the role
SMA is seeking a skilled Warehouse all-rounder/forklift operator to join our team in Bankstown, NSW. This full-time position is responsible for a variety of warehouse and logistics duties, including operating a forklift, assisting with inventory management, and supporting the overall smooth running of our operations.

What you'll be doing

Operate a forklift to load, unload and move materials, goods and equipment safely and efficiently

Assist with the receipt, storage, and dispatch of inventory and materials

Perform cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records

Participate in the organisation and maintenance of the warehouse to ensure optimal productivity and safety

Provide general warehouse support as needed, such as packing and unpacking shipments

Physically lift sheets 2400x1200 to sort cover sheets from good sheets

Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a warehouse operative or forklift driver, ideally in the manufacturing, transport or logistics industry

Forklift licence and demonstrated safe operating experience

Strong organisational and time management skills

Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to safety

Good communication and problem-solving skills

Physically fit to be able to hand load items that require sorting
