Protech are looking for experienced Dump Truck Operators to work in a Quarry located Narangba. This is an ongoing role with a national leader in the construction materials industry.

In this role, you will be responsible for operating the Dump Truck or Moxy to transport material such as greenstone out of the quarry to be used to produce concrete, asphalt aggregate, and road base. Opportunity for cross training onto other machines is available.

ABOUT THE ROLE

• Full time hours with overtime available
• $38.68/hr base rate
• Ongoing work for the right candidate
• Monday-Friday 6am-4pm with the potential for weekend shifts
• Pre-employment medical will be required prior to starting the role

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operating the Dump Truck - additional machinery tickets and experience highly regarded
• Lifting, loading, and transporting product within the quarry
• Loading hoppers and assisting with production processes
• General labouring duties and plant housekeeping
• Basic maintenance of equipment and participation in safety initiatives (pre-starts, toolboxes, incident reporting)
• Willingness to work across all areas of quarry operations

TICKETS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• RII Ticket for Rigid Dump Truck or Articulated Haul Truck
• Minimum 12 months operating experience - previous work within a quarry preferred
• Self-motivated with a strong commitment to safety and quality
• Ability to work effectively in a team with minimal supervision
• Positive attitude and reliable work ethic
