Responsibilities

• Provide daily electrical support to all plant machinery and equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair advanced faults involving motors, drives, sensors, and data communication
• Work collaboratively with OEM suppliers and internal teams to enhance reliability and performance
• Contribute to the development of preventative maintenance routines, backups, and SOPs
• Use MEX CMMS to manage and track work orders, history, and parts usage
• Report on downtime, maintenance issues, and project progress
• Assist with inventory control for spare parts and consumables
• Liaise with vendors and internal IT, engineering, and procurement teams
• Participate in toolbox talks, planning meetings, and shutdown activities

Requirements Essential:

• Current A-Grade Electrical Licence
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting ability in a manufacturing setting
• Experience with PLC and industrial control systems (Beckhoff, Siemens, MS Windows)
• Working knowledge of protocols such as Ethercat, TCP/IP, Profibus, or Canbus
• Comfortable working with CMMS systems and technical documentation
• Self-motivated, communicative, and team-oriented

Desirable:

• Qualifications in Automation, Process Engineering or related
• Experience with LiSEC, Glaston, Forvet or similar glass machinery
• Familiarity with Beckhoff TwinCAT, Sigmatek, Allen-Bradley, or PILZ systems
• Strong IT skills including MS Windows networking and CMD tools

• Offers a salary of $124,000 plus overtime
