We are currently seeking a professional, friendly, and organised Medical Receptionist/Administrator to join our growing team in a full-time, permanent role.

About the Role

You will be the first point of contact for patients and referring doctors, and play a critical in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of a busy practice.

Key responsibilities include:

Welcoming patients and managing front desk communications

Scheduling and coordinating appointments

Medicare billing and handling patient payments

Data entry and record management

Liaising with referring GPs and specialists

Providing general administrative support to the clinical team

What You Bring

Previous experience in medical reception or healthcare administration

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

High attention to detail and organisational skills

Familiarity with medical practice software and Medicare billing processes

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Bookkeeping or finance administration experience is highly regarded

A calm, professional manner with a compassionate approach to patient care
