Myrtle Wine Bar is located in Melbourne CBD on Warburton Lane
We are on the look out for a Chef de Partie to support and work within our current team.
Responsibilities of the role:
Liaise with the Head Chef to formulate day to day priorities.
Ensure that the established standard operating procedures are followed.
Maintain a healthy working environment and professionalism.
Creativity for menu development.
Attention to detail and quality control
An even temperament and ability to work well in a busy environment.
Impeccable organisation, hygiene and presentation.
Ensuring that all foods are stored and prepared in a safe and hygienic manner.
To work diligently towards reaching all budgetary targets and assist the Head Chef.
Possess the highest standards in kitchen hygiene, OHS & Food Safety Procedures
The successful candidate needs to possess the following experience and skills:
Previous experience as a Chef de Partie
Available to work flexible hours, Mon - Sat
Extremely good work ethic to work across various sections of the kitchen
Ordering of stock and maintaining COGS are kept within targets set by Head Chef
Food, health safety certificate, understanding of basic OHS
