About the role

We are seeking an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Opera Apartments' in South Brisbane, Queensland. As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and presentation of our serviced apartments to the highest standard. This is a contract role, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

What you'll be doing

Oversee and coordinate the daily housekeeping activities of the team

Ensure all guest rooms and common areas are cleaned to brand standards

Inspect completed work and provide feedback to the team

Manage inventory and order supplies as needed

Assist with hiring, training and development of the housekeeping team

Respond promptly to guest requests and address any concerns

Maintain detailed records and reporting as required

Organise rosters for housekeepers

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or in a similar role within the hospitality industry

Strong organisational and time management skills

Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleaning standards

Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work well under pressure and in a team environment

Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities

Proficient in using housekeeping and inventory management software
