The opportunity

An immediate opportunity exists for an experienced Senior Application Developer .Net to work on a portfolio of application projects, contributing to the complete application lifecycle from inception, architecture, design, development to support. As a member of the Digital Team, you will be required to assist the organisation on a number of application development projects. The Digital Team is divided into three (3) groups - (i) Customer Experience, (ii) Team experience and (iii) BAU. You will also be required to provide Tier 3 application support by investigating incidents, fixing bugs, developing improvements and performing maintenance function on current portfolio of bespoke .Net applications.

Required mandatory skills:

• C#;
• Demonstrated experience writing Single Page Applications (SPA) such as React, Angula, Vue; MVC/Web API;
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server (from an application development perspective);
• Entity Framework;
• HTML/CSS/JavaScript/Typescript;
• Geospatial concepts;
• Front end framework experience (e.g. Angular and/or React);
• SQL Server Reporting Services;
• PowerBI;
• Azure Service Bus;
• Azure API Manager;
• Azure Logic Apps and/or Function Apps;
• ARM Templates Power Platform;
• Good knowledge of Agile Software Development Methodologies;
• Software and system design and good knowledge of database and system modelling skills; and
• Knowledge of MS Power Platform.

Selection Criteria

To be successful you will be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and engage with various stakeholders. You will have good knowledge and substantial experience in the above-mentioned skill set, as well as sound knowledge of geospatial concepts and Agile software development methodologies. This role will suit an Application Developer who has strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills, who is able to work unsupervised and is focused on producing high-quality work.
