About the role

Farmers Bakehouse, is a local bakery in Dubbo NSW 2830, seeking a part-time or casual or Full Time Kitchen Team Member to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for food preparation and providing customer assistance in our vibrant bakery environment.

What you'll be doing

Preparing orders with precision and attention to detail nature in a fast-paced kitchen environment

Being a reliable team member with proactive nature and committed to following management instructions to ensure seamless operations

Assisting with kitchen duties such as cleaning, stocking, ordering and maintaining a safe and organised work area

Providing excellent customer service by answering inquiries, taking orders, and ensuring a positive in-store experience

Collaborating with the broader team to ensure efficient and timely service

Adhering to food safety and hygiene standards at all times

What we're looking for

Previous experience of at lease 2 years in a similar food preparation or customer service role, preferably in a bakery or hospitality setting

Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Excellent customer service skills, great teamwork and a friendly, approachable demeanour

Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices

Food Handling Certificate Level 1 required (or willingness to obtain within 4 weeks of employment)

Must be available to work weekends and flexible shifts as required

Must have valid Australian work rights and be eligible to work in Dubbo, NSW

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 10-15kg regularly
