Job Title: All Rounder / Kitchen Assistant

Description: The Good Bowl is currently seeking an experienced back of house/kitchen hand to join our team. As a kitchen assistant , you will be responsible for crafting delicious and nutritious beverages & poke bowls for our customers. If you have a passion for creating refreshing juices, smoothies, salads, possess efficient knife skills, and have a solid understanding of food preparations, we invite you to apply for this position.

Responsibilities:

Prepare a variety of juices, smoothies & salads according to customer preferences and recipes.

Ensure the use of fresh and high-quality ingredients in all offerings.

Operate juicers, blenders, and other equipment safely and efficiently.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the juicing and smoothie preparation area.

Assist customers by providing information about ingredients, suggesting flavour combinations, and accommodating special requests.

Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales.

Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth workflow and exceptional customer service.

Always adhere to health and safety guidelines and regulations.

Requirements:

Full working rights in Australia.

Availability to work Monday to Friday.

Proficient English language and communication skills.

Minimum of 2 year of previous experience in a kitchen role.

Basic knife skills and understanding of food preparations.

Knowledge of ingredients, flavour combinations, and nutritional benefits.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Friendly and approachable demeanour with a focus on providing excellent customer service.
