About the role

Zenith Built Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Lead Hand Carpenter to join our team in Adelaide, SA. This full-time role will see you working with and leading a small crew of guys, overseeing the daily operations and ensuring all projects are completed to the highest standard.

What you'll be doing

Lead and supervise a small team of carpenters to ensure all work is completed efficiently and to specification

Take ownership of project planning

Liaising with clients and subcontractors to ensure projects run smoothly

Provide hands-on carpentry work, drawing on your extensive trade experience

Mentor and train junior members of the team to develop their skills

What we're looking for

Recognised carpentry cert 3 trade qualification

Minimum 5 years' experience as a qualified carpenter

Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve project goals

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Understanding of relevant building codes and regulations

Current driver's licence and reliable transportation
