QC Accountants Pty Ltd is seeking a high performing and proactive Intermediate Accountants to join our dynamic and growing team for our new Varsity Lakes office. As an Intermediate Accountant, you will play a key role in providing high-quality taxation and accounting services to our diverse client base.

This is a full-time position, offering a competitive salary and bonus structure, flexible hours / RDOs and parking.

What you'll be doing

Prepare and review financial statements, tax returns, and BAS for a diverse client base.

Prepare a limited amount of individual income tax returns in tax season.

Ensure clients taxation obligations are up to date and appropriately managed.

Assist the team with client advisory, QBCC, GPFR, taxation planning, budgeting and cashflow and complex tax advice.

Conducting research and analysis to identify tax-saving opportunities for clients.

Collaborating with the wider team to ensure seamless service delivery.

Staying up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and industry best practices.

What we're looking for

On your way to complete the CA or CPA designitation.

A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar taxation and accounting role.

Strong knowledge of Australian tax laws and regulations.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proficient in the use of accounting software and tax preparation tools.

Effective communication and client relationship management skills.

A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with industry changes.
