Key Responsibilities:

Ensure full compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF), National Quality Standards (NQS), and the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).

Drive operational efficiency across the centre, including budgeting, staffing, and resource management.

Lead and inspire a team of passionate early childhood educators, upholding high standards in all areas of service delivery.

Strategically grow and maintain centre occupancy, while strengthening the centre’s positive reputation within the community.

Build and nurture strong, collaborative relationships with children, families, and the wider community, encouraging open communication and active engagement in centre activities. compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF), National Quality Standards (NQS), and Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).

Qualification:

Early Childhood Education and Care from a recognised university (as listed on the approved qualification list by ACECQA), or

Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent)

Current first aid, CPR, and ACECQA approved anaphylaxis, and asthma management certifications

Valid Working with Children Check (WWCC)

Accredited Child Protection Training

Essential Experience:

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a leadership role within an Early Childhood Education and Care service

• Proven capability across key operational areas, including administrative procedures, curriculum development, parent and community engagement, staff training and professional development, and effective team leadership and management

• Sound understanding and practical knowledge of Work Health and Safety (WHS) legislation

• Demonstrated familiarity with the Child Care Subsidy (CCS) system, including the ability to utilise relevant software application to ensure compliance

• Willingness to undertake the role of Nominated Supervisor in accordance with the Education and Care Services National Law Application Act 2010 and Education and Care Services National Regulations
