About the Role
The Manager Education Support plays a critical leadership role in advancing educational quality and innovation across TAFE Gippsland. Reporting to the General Manager Product and Innovation, this role drives excellence in teaching and learning through the development and implementation of modern, responsive, and compliant curriculum and assessment strategies. The position supports teaching areas by fostering collaboration, leading educational initiatives, and ensuring the effective use of eLearning technologies. With a focus on continuous improvement, quality assurance, and stakeholder engagement, the Manager Education Support will help ensure student success and strengthen the Institute’s reputation for delivering outstanding education and training experiences.
The Manager Education Support will also lead and manage a dedicated team of eLearning specialists, providing direction, mentorship, and support to ensure the effective design, development, and delivery of digital learning resources. A strong working knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS), particularly Moodle, is essential, with the ability to optimise its use to enhance learner engagement, accessibility, and reporting. This role requires collaboration with the team to maintain and continuously improve the LMS environment, ensuring compliance with education standards and alignment with institutional goals.
Your Experience and Qualifications
You’ll hold a relevant tertiary qualification in Vocational Education and Training (VET) and bring significant experience in the sector, particularly in leading the development of high-quality, compliant teaching and assessment resources. You’ll have a strong understanding of contemporary education and training practices, with a focus on integrating technology into learning and assessment. Your ability to lead teams, manage strategic education initiatives, and foster a culture of collaboration will be key. Strong interpersonal, written, and digital communication skills are essential, along with the capacity to gain commitment and cooperation across a wide range of stakeholders.
