About the Role
The Product and Growth Education Specialist plays a key role in shaping TAFE Gippsland’s future-focused education portfolio. Reporting to the General Manager Product and Innovation, this role is responsible for developing and leading innovative educational products aligned with strategic growth objectives and emerging industry needs. You will oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and piloting through to transitioning successful programs into business-as-usual delivery. Working closely with internal teams and external partners, you'll drive innovation, source or create high-quality content, and integrate cutting-edge technologies to deliver impactful learning experiences. This is a unique opportunity to influence the direction of vocational education while creating real outcomes for learners, industry, and community.
Your Experience and Qualifications
You’ll have proven experience in developing, delivering, and evaluating new educational products, ideally within a VET or TAFE setting. A strong understanding of VET frameworks, policies, and compliance standards is essential, along with a demonstrated ability to drive innovation and lead change. You’ll be a strategic thinker with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project leadership skills are key. Proficiency in using technology to enhance education is also important. A relevant qualification in education or training, such as the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122) or equivalent is desirable.
