Are you an experienced and proactive Injury Management Professional who is ready to make your mark working within an innovative People Learning Culture team?
Join our dynamic team as the Return-to-Work Specialist, where you will lead injury management initiatives across our Victorian sites.
About the Opportunity
In this role, you will utilise your expertise in end-to-end injury management, workers' compensation, and return-to-work strategies to drive positive recovery outcomes while ensuring compliance with legislative requirements. As the lead in this space, you will proactively identify areas for improvement, providing actionable recommendations and supporting leaders in implementation to promote best practice claim and injury management and drive measurable reductions in claims and associated costs.
You will also support the broader OHS/WHS initiatives across Victoria, hosting claims review meetings and participating in the OHS and OVA Committees at each site.
This position is vital in ensuring that injured employees receive appropriate care, return to work as efficiently as possible, and that injury risks are effectively managed across our Victorian operations. It will require physical presence across each of our three Victorian sites on a weekly basis, with additional ad hoc visits as needed.
This is a part-time opportunity to fit someone wanting to work 20-25 hours per week. Specific contracted days and times will be confirmed with the successful candidate, based upon their availability and preferred work pattern.

You thrive in a collaborative environment, building strong relationships with employees, managers, insurers, and health professionals to support successful recovery outcomes. Your ability to educate, coach, and influence stakeholders will be key to your success, ensuring that everyone follows best practices in injury prevention and recovery.
To excel in this role, you will have:
- completion of (or willingness to complete) the Return to Work Coordinator course
- knowledge of the Victorian workers’ compensation scheme and a broad understanding of the national framework
- relevant experience with the Victorian workers’ compensation scheme
- a tertiary qualification in Allied Health, Rehabilitation, Human Resources, or a related field will be highly regarded
