About Us:

Our mission at Ready Set Go Health Group is to provide all children with the opportunity to engage in sports and physical activity from a young age. Our preschool program is multi-sports based and designed to focus on the development of children's fundamental movement skills, whilst also aligning with the Early Years Learning Framework.

We are a small business and have been delivering our preschool program to early learning centres in the Illawarra region for 5 years now, creating a network of amazing centres that we love working with.

We are looking for 1 team member to help us bring fun and physical activity to preschools in our local area!

Essential Criteria - Qualifications in ONE of the below

Human Movement eg. Cert III/IV in Personal Training, Sports Science

Sports Coaching

Childcare and Early Education

Candidate Qualities

Any experience working with kids is desirable

Any coaching experience will be favourably regarded

You must love sports, have an energetic personality and not be afraid to be a little silly!

Reliable, professional, outgoing and enthusiastic

Tasks & Responsibilities

Delivery of the Ready Set Go Preschool Program in early learning centres across the Illawarra region (30min classes)

Interaction with children aged 2.5 – 6 years old

Liaising with childcare educators and occasionally parents

Teaching different sports and playing games that are fun and interactive

Keeping children engaged in activities

Ensuring classes are running on time

Setting up and packing up equipment before and after classes

Essential Requirements:

Drivers licence and own car

Working with Children Check

Police Check

Current First Aid and CPR Certificate

Our classes are run Monday to Friday, between 9am – 3:30pm during the NSW school terms. This role will involve delivering classes in the Wollongong and/or Shellharbour areas. We are flexible in terms of days and hours of availability for the right candidate. This position is for approximately 10-15 hours per week.

You would be employed on a casual basis and we provide insurance, work cover and superannuation for our coaches. All equipment and lesson planning is provided.
