The Opportunity
We are currently seeking Casual Secondary Teachers to support the College on a day-to-day basis, replacing permanent or temporary staff on short-term leave. You may be required to teach across a variety of subject areas, depending on College needs.

Key Responsibilities:
Delivering engaging and effective lessons in accordance with the College’s curriculum and teaching requirements.
Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports student engagement and development.
Managing classroom behaviour effectively in line with the College’s policies.
Assessing and providing feedback on student progress as required.
Collaborating with colleagues and contributing to the broader school community where possible.
Essential Criteria:
NESA-accredited Secondary Teacher (please indicate subject areas).
Approval to teach in NSW.
Demonstrated excellence in classroom teaching.
Strong understanding of Catholic education and a commitment to the ethos of an Edmund Rice school.
Effective classroom management and student engagement skills.
Proficiency in ICT and ability to work in a contemporary blended learning environment.
Understanding of the pastoral care needs of adolescent boys.
Proven capacity to differentiate learning to meet diverse student needs.
A current Working With Children Check and understanding of professional child safeguarding practices.
