About the Role

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Workshop Labourer / Trades Assistant to join our team. The position is full time permanent opportunity based in Bathurst NSW, with the minimum weekly hours to be 38 hrs.

Duties will include, but not limited to;

Maintaining the yard in a clean and orderly way

Prepare pumps and associated components for assembly.

Assemble complete pump sets in collaboration with team members

Support Pump performance testing processes

Provide hands-on support to various workshop teams on ad-hoc tasks.

Sweeping, hosing, pressure cleaning of driveways and hardstand areas

Sorting pallets of pump parts into various catogories

Forklift Driving, loading and unloading from pallet racking.

Loading & Unloading Trucks

Provide general assistance to teams within the workshop on ad-hoc tasks

Criteria

You will have the ability to work autonomously or as part of a team. You will be enthusiastic, results driven can-do person ideally having experience within the mechanical industry space. You will also possess.

A current drivers license

Be mechanically minded and a hands-on person.

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar mechanical hands on role (Tyre Fitting or similar)

A Valid forklift license (an advantage)

A great attitude to hard work.
