Our client is an industry leader in mining technology, delivering smart, scalable software solutions for autonomous fleet operations and heavy industry automation. Their mission is to support safe, efficient, and data-driven mining practices through high-performance back-end systems.

We’re looking for a Senior Back End Developer with hands-on experience in mining environments, particularly with autonomous fleet systems or open pit, to help drive the next generation of their software platform.

About the Role

You will take ownership of core back-end services that power mission-critical applications in large-scale mining operations. Working in a high-performance team, you’ll develop clean, scalable solutions using C#, .NET Core, Entity Framework, and RabbitMQ, while collaborating closely with front-end, architects, and testers.

Responsibilities:

• Take responsibility of complex user stories and lead their technical execution from design to deployment.
• Contribute to technical design reviews and provide feedback on system architecture in collaboration with Tech Leads and Architects.
• Ensure code quality through peer reviews, automated testing, and documentation. Contribute to codebase maintainability through refactoring, observability, and test coverage improvements.
• Mentor developers within the squad, offering guidance on patterns, practices, and software design paradigms.
• Colllaborate with Domain Engineers to adopt and integrate shared frameworks and libraries.
• Escalate technical risks or misalignments early to the Tech Lead.

Skills:

• Experience with fleet management solutions or open pit mining operations
• 5+ years’ experience in C#, .NET Core
• Expertise in message-based architectures using RabbitMQ or similar messaging queues
• Strong experience in entity framework
• Experience with SQL Server
• Experience with microservice architectures and containerisation using Docker and Kubernetes
