We are seeking a qualified and passionate Director with a teaching qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care to join our team. This is a part-time administrative role (3 days per week), commencing in February 2026. Occasional relief work in the classroom may be required.

After nearly 30 years, one of our dedicated Directors is retiring. We are looking for someone to continue her legacy and work with the existing team to begin the next chapter for our highly respected service.

About Us:

Located in a beautiful setting, our Preschool is a community owned, not for profit centre with long-standing, strong connections to families, local services, and community groups. We are well-resourced and offer excellent facilities—especially our expansive outdoor space. Our groups are small, with up to 30 children per day, and operate during school terms. We offer above award wages.

Requirements:

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care

• Current Working with Children Check

• Up-to-date First Aid certificate

• Strong commitment to child safety

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Passion, compassion, and a clear educational vision

The Role:

You will lead our Centre’s operations including compliance, quality improvement, policies, reports and other duties to ensure Preschool’s smooth running.
