As we continue to grow, we’re looking for passionate, detail-oriented, Production Scientists to join our dynamic Production team. If you thrive in cleanroom environments, value precision, and want your work to make an impact, this is your opportunity.
What You’ll Do
As a Production Scientist, you’ll be part of the team at the heart of our manufacturing operations, producing clinical-grade viral vectors in a world-class facility. You’ll work under key regulatory standards (TGA, FDA, EMA), contribute to manufacturing process, and help maintain the highest levels of quality and compliance.
Your key responsibilities:
Work as part of the team responsible for the manufacture of gene therapy vectors for clinical use in humans.
Execute aseptic manufacturing processes under cGMP.
Operate and validate cleanroom equipment and troubleshoot issues.
Assist in supporting the broader team to develop SOPs and quality control protocols.
Participate in production campaigns.
Participate cross-functional projects and other activities.
Support continuous improvement initiatives across the facility.
Who You Are
You’re a collaborative Production Scientist with a sharp eye for detail and a drive for excellence. You’re comfortable in structured environments, with adaptability to work with us as we grow, and passionate about contributing to life-changing therapies.
You’ll bring:
A degree in Science or equivalent experience in pharmaceutical, biological, or health sciences.
Experience within a GMP manufacturing environment.
Hands-on experience in aseptic techniques, tissue culture and/or bioreactors.
Hands-on experience in downstream processes such as chromatography, tangential flow filtration or depth filtration.
Strong understanding of cleanroom protocols and cGMP standards.
Excellent documentation, communication, and time management skills.
A proactive, solutions-focused mindset aligned with VVMF’s values.
Ability to work outside usual business hours during Production runs.
Bonus if you have:
Experience in biopharmaceutical manufacturing.
