Community Bike Hub is a multifaceted social enterprise developed in collaboration with Local Impact.

The Community Bike Hub services the community in a broad variety of ways: we run a full service retail workshop, an education program teaching basic bike mechanic skills to over 300 students per year, a Traffic School and a community volunteer program that contributes to our mission of creating a sustainable and circular economy while funnelling into our donation program providing equitable access to active transport for refugees and asylum seekers.

We’re looking for friendly & welcoming party supervisors at our Brimbank Traffic School. Party Supervisors make sure our customers have an awesome time, they also:

Get to work with a great team.

Work in at atmosphere that’s fun and energetic.

Learn new skills and have the opportunity to get involved in other great Community Bike Hub programs

About the role…

The Community Bike Hub Party Supervisors welcome guests and help them to set up and pack down their parties.

Coordinate bike and helmet hire

Ensure the facility is being used appropriately and that all party goers are safe.

Training & Development

The Community Bike Hub will provide a thorough and extensive training program and induction. We will also provide First Aid training and the opportunity to become involved in other Community Bike Hub Programs.

All Community Bike Hub staff and volunteers must have a Working with Children check and be available to work Saturdays and Sundays.

Experience and attributes

Have an intertest in bikes and/or working with Children

Good communication and customer service skills

Ability to work under pressure

Able to work independently

Problem-solving ability

Experience in a similar role would be highly regarded but not a pre requisite.
