Early Childhood Director & Educator (Combined Role)

Are you ready for a sea change?

We’re seeking a qualified and experienced early childhood teacher to take on a combined Director and Teaching role at our small, community-run preschool on beautiful Lord Howe Island. We are a part-time preschool offering a nurturing, play-based program for up to 20 children (currently 10 enrolled), aged 3–5 years.

Key Requirements:

ACECQA-approved Early Childhood Teaching qualification

Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Director role

Strong working knowledge of EYLF, NQF, and QIP processes

Confident in leading through Assessment & Rating

WWCC, Child Protection & Current First Aid Qualifications

Start Mid-Late September 2025

Minimum 22-30 Hours Per Week (Negotiable)
