About the role
Arete Health Care is seeking an experienced Facility & Hospitality Services Manager to join our team in our Beverly Hills, NSW location. This full-time role will be responsible for overseeing the smooth operation of our two Residential Aged Care Homes located in Cabramatta and Bankstown, ensuring a comfortable and safe environment for our residents, visitors and staff.
What you'll be doing
Manage all facility maintenance, repair, and improvement BAU operation and projects to ensure the building and grounds are well-maintained and presentable
Oversee and management of the hospitality services team, including food services, laundry services, maintenance and transportation, to deliver high-quality resident and visitor experiences
Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to enhance service delivery, implement improvements, and respond proactively to issues, feedback and complaints.
Manage service-related budgets, including monitoring expenditures, controlling costs, and identifying opportunities for operational efficiencies.
Lead, coach, and develop the facility and hospitality services teams
Support regulatory and accreditation requirements by maintaining up-to-date documentation, quality improvement initiatives, and compliance records across service areas.
What we're looking for
Minimum 5 years of experience in a facility management or hospitality services role, preferably in a aged care setting
Strong understanding of facility maintenance, operations, and sustainability best practices
Extensive expertise in maintenance operations and issue resolution
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Experience in budgeting and financial management
Knowledge of relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
Proficient in documentation, reporting and well-versed in Government Accreditation standards and requirements
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills
Demonstrated ability to meet goals within established timeframes
Fluent in Vietnamese (Desirable)
