Position: Educator (Certificate III or Diploma-qualified)

Employment type: Permanent, 37.5 hours per week. The Centre operates on a roster working between the hours of 6.45am and 6pm.

The Early Learning Centre is located at Saint Stephen's College and is a 68 place, 3 room centre which allows us to be a close-knit community, and is themed around the Secret Garden. Key Responsibilities:

• Engage with children through creative and educational activities, fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.
• Assist the room leader with implementing age-appropriate curriculum and activities under the National Quality Framework, the Early Years Learning Framework and the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines.
• Build strong relationships with children and their families.
• Assist with observations and support children’s developmental needs by sharing observations with senior educators for documentation and planning.
• Collaborate with the team to create a well-rounded educational experience.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• An ACECQA-approved Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or be actively working towards a completion of one of these qualifications
• A passion for early childhood education and understanding of children’s growth and development.
• Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Framework and the Queensland Kindergarten guidelines and able to implement age appropriate programming
• Experience as an Educator
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills with the ability to maintain positive relationships with children, staff and parents.

Mandatory Clearances/Certifications

• Blue Card, in accordance with ‘No Card, No Start law’, as per the Working with Children (Risk Management and Screening) Act 2000
• First Aid Certificate and CPR Certification (Saint Stephen's College may reimburse the expenses relating to this certification).
