Inventory Shift Supervisor – Afternoon Shift (2pm–10pm)
Location: Darra, QLD
Hours: 2:00pm – 10:00pm (flexibility required if needed)

NTHA are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Inventory Shift Supervisor to join our clients dynamic warehouse team. This hands-on leadership role is focused on overseeing the receiving and put-away operations during our afternoon shift, ensuring stock is accurately and efficiently processed and stored.

This position is critical to the success of our client's warehouse operations and will suit someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys leading a team, and takes pride in delivering results.

Our client is a proud Australian-owned supplier of premium structural and decorative timber products. Operating nationally through an exclusive wholesale model, they service Building Material Merchants, Home Centres, and Truss/Frame manufacturers.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise a team of 2 forklift drivers during the afternoon shift

Oversee all receiving activities, including unloading containers, processing returns, and stock put-away

Assist the Inventory Controller with stock investigations and inventory accuracy

Ensure timely and safe loading and unloading of inbound and outbound trucks

Monitor daily workflow and shift priorities to meet operational targets

Support the morning shift team when they are falling behind

Maintain clear communication with the Inventory Controller and Warehouse Manager

Ensure all warehouse processes and safety procedures are followed

Reporting Structure:

Reports directly to the Warehouse Manager

Oversees 2 direct reports (forklift drivers)

The Inventory Controller reports directly to this role

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proven leadership or supervisory experience in a warehouse or logistics environment (timber industry highly regarded)

Valid forklift licence and strong practical forklift experience

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities

Ability to work independently and lead by example

Sound knowledge of WHS
