Group Accountant - Financial & Management Accounting

ABOUT US:

Baguley Group is a family-owned group of businesses based in Mackay. Since 2005, Baguley has successfully completed numerous projects across regional & remote Queensland. The Group is experiencing rapid growth, with more large projects & new business ventures in the pipeline.

ABOUT YOU:

- Bachelor degree or higher in Accounting/Finance

- CPA/CA qualifications preferred but not essential

- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role

- Demonstrated leadership & communication skills

- Ability to work independently as well as leading a team

- Proficient in Intuit Quickbooks Online (QBO) & Microsoft Office suite

- Experienced with project costing & reporting software

ABOUT THE ROLE:

- Maintenance of accounting records for all entities in the Group

- Payroll processing & supplier payments

- Customer invoicing

- Support & leadership of the Accounts team

- Financial, management & project reporting

- Statutory lodgements (BAS, Super, Payroll Tax, QLeave)

- Insurance & WorkCover renewals

- EOFY processes
