Superior Courts - Department of Communities & Justice

Location - Parramatta

Employment type - Ongoing Full-time

Salary - 99,938-- $110,271 pa plus superannuation and leave loading

Your role

Are you a motivated leader with a passion for justice and public service? Join the Department of Communities and Justice as a Team Leader Commissioner Support, where you'll play a pivotal role in supporting the operations of the Industrial Relations Commission.

This dynamic position involves leading a team that provides legal, administrative, and courtroom support to Commissioners. You'll manage resources, coordinate staff, and ensure the smooth delivery of services and technology within the Commission.

What you'll do

As part of the Team Leader Commissioner Support; you will

Lead, coach, and mentor a team of Commissioner Support staff to deliver high-quality service.

Manage staff rostering, workload allocation, and performance development.

Provide legal and administrative support to Commissioners, including courtroom assistance.

Oversee procurement of supplies, equipment delivery, and technology maintenance.

Process payments and manage sensitive information with discretion.

Contribute to policy and procedural improvements and support recruitment and onboarding.

What we're looking for

We're seeking a proactive and organised leader who thrives in a fast-paced, complex environment.

You'll bring:

Strong understanding of the NSW Court System.

Excellent judgment and discretion in handling confidential matters.

Proven ability to manage and develop people, plan and prioritise effectively, and work collaboratively.

Intermediate capability in technology and project management.

A valid NSW Driver's License and a willingness to travel if required.

Ability to meet relevant pre-employment checks (e.g., National Criminal History Record Check, Working with Children Check).
