About the opportunity:
We are currently searching for 1 x energetic and safety-conscious HC Truck Driver to join our Laminex Distribution Centre in Launceston, Tasmania.

This role will be a minimum of 38 hours per week, and can be either permenant full-time or full-time casual.

Perm. FT = $30.94ph ORFull-time Casual = $38.67ph
It is a day shift position, Monday - Friday with no weekends. Must be happy to do up to 18 drops per day.
Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Receiving, picking, packing, preparing and dispatching orders to Laminex customers
• Driving HC tautliner Trucks
• Loading and unloading trucks with a forklift
• Must be able to reverse trucks
• Completing paperwork and basic administration tasks
• Ensuring tasks are completed in a safe, timely and accurate manner

About You:
The successful candidate will ideally have experience in a similar role with a general freight carrier environment. You will also have:

• Strong experience in a warehouse environment and multi-drop operations
• HC lincense is a must
• Forklift lincense is a must (or be willing to obtain one)
• Strong initiative, as well as the ability to work well with a team
• The motivation to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Good computer literacy and familiar with Warehouse Management Systems
• Experience working with a range of products, especially with wide and bulky items
