About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and hands-on Fit Out Foreman to oversee the delivery of high-quality commercial and residential interior fit-out projects. You will be responsible for supervising trades on-site, ensuring works are delivered on time, safely, and to specification. This is a leadership role suited to someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and able to drive productivity while maintaining a strong safety culture.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and supervise all site-based activities for fit-out and finishing trades

Liaise with site managers, project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth workflow

Interpret drawings and specifications, ensuring compliance with plans and quality expectations

Oversee daily site operations, including toolbox talks, safety inspections, and work sequencing

Enforce WHS standards and procedures in line with company and legislative requirements

Monitor progress and maintain short-term programs to meet deadlines

Manage deliveries, materials, and on-site logistics

Identify and resolve site issues swiftly to minimise delays

Conduct regular quality checks and defect inspections

Maintain accurate daily records, site diaries, and progress reports

Requirements

Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a foreman/supervisory role within fit-out or finishing trades

Strong understanding of fit-out sequencing, details, and finishes

Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings

Excellent communication and leadership skills

Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and safe work practices

Trade background in carpentry, joinery, or similar (preferred)

White Card (Construction Induction)

Asbestos Awareness Card

Crystalline Silica Exposure Prevention Training

First Aid and/or Site Supervisor tickets (advantageous)
