Our team is expanding, and we are seeking casual cleaning staff, based in Ingham, to work afternoon shifts, Monday to Friday. We are looking for people who are motivated and willing to make a difference in our local school communities. Our aim is to provide a safe and clean environment to improve the experience of our children, teachers, and the wider community.

The successful candidate will have the following attributes:

Role Responsibilities:

Availability to work afternoon hours, Monday – Friday.

Cleaning of all facilities including classrooms, offices, bathrooms, kitchens and grounds

Restocking dispensers, cleaning and sanitising fixtures, cleaning mirrors, spot cleaning doors and walls, sweeping and mopping floors, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting and wiping, you will need to be able to complete various duties under strict timelines.

Collecting litter, emptying and washing rubbish bins and replacing liners

Working autonomously with little supervision & commitment to safe work practices

Adhere to cleaning protocols and schedules with a commitment to safe cleaning processes including the correct use of cleaning products and chemicals

Must be physically fit and able to meet the demands of the job

Mandatory Criteria:

Current Working with Children Blue Card or eligibility to obtain one.

Current Police Clearance / Criminal History Check or eligibility to obtain one.
