• OO6/1 Supervisor (Residential)

We are working with a large QLD State Government Department, who are seeking a Supervisor to join their team, based at their Cannon Hill office. This role will see you responsible for inspecting residential properties, managing contractors, communicating with internal and external stakeholders and completing relevant project documentation.

In this role, you will:

• Supervise all elements in respect to the delivery of construction, maintenance and upgrade works, including assisting in the planning and delivery of projects.
• Coordinate and undertake the delivery of a high-quality scoping services including inspections/surveys of building elements and construction materials.
• Produce high quality tender and quotation documentation for building projects.
• Prepare accurate and timely estimates, quotations, and project trade packages including material lists.
• Ensure all job documentation includes safe work method statement or other risk assessment documentation as necessary.
• Participate in and facilitate WHS audits.
• Undertake inspection services including tenancy management services and maintenance referrals on behalf of Government Employee Housing.

About You:

• A trade qualification and previous experience supervising trades.
• Experience in within a construction environment and maintenance and minor works projects.
• Knowledge of WH&S and compliance activities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• A current driver's licence.
• Current Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) General Safety Induction Card.
