1st Year Electrical Apprentice (Junior)

East Coast Energy Solutions is seeking energetic and enthusiastic applicants to undertake an apprenticeship in August / September 2025. The successful applicants will be based in Cairns and work across the FNQ Region.

Applicants must have completed Year 12 Math's A or B, with sound English and numeracy skills. The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate a genuine interest in completing an apprenticeship as an Electrician.

Qualification Requirements:

Provisional or Open - Manual C Class Drivers Licence - Essential

Working at Heights Qualification - Essential

Construction Induction Card (White Card) - Essential

Certificate 2 in Electrotechnology - Preferred but not essential

Essential Work Requirements Include:

Punctual

Basic hand and power tools (list to be provided)

Demonstrated mathematical and technical ability including diagnostic and problem solving skills

A highly developed sense of responsibility and accountability

Willingness to follow directions and work in a team environment

Commitment to ensuring a safe and healthy working environment

Be able to work at heights & in a hot environment

Hold a manual drivers licence & construction white card
