The Role

With venues in Strathpine, Springwood, and Browns Plains, we’re looking for enthusiastic Sports, Bar & Canteen Attendants to join our team on a casual basis. This role is perfect for junior employees seeking after-school work or weekend shifts to balance with studies or other commitments. As a Sports, Bar & Canteen Attendant, you’ll help create a welcoming and energetic atmosphere at our venues.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve customers with a smile at our canteen and bar, preparing food and drinks.

Assist with venue setup and pack-down, including sports equipment.

Maintain a clean, safe, and inviting environment for patrons.

Handle payments and cash with accuracy.

Support exciting events like tournaments and community activities.

Follow QIA’s policies as outlined in our Employee Handbook.

What We’re Looking For:

A positive, enthusiastic attitude – no experience required, just a willingness to learn!

Great communication and customer service skills.

Availability for afternoon and weekend shifts – perfect for students or juniors.

Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification (or willingness to obtain).

Ability to work across our Strathpine, Springwood, and Browns Plains venues.
