🔍 Overview:

Red Cartel is seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Engineer to join our on-site development team. You will be responsible for building and maintaining modern web applications that are performant, secure, and user-friendly. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across the stack, takes initiative, and can deliver robust solutions in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

🛠 Core Responsibilities:

Design, build, and maintain scalable back-end services and APIs.

Develop responsive, accessible, and maintainable front-end interfaces using modern frameworks.

Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver high-quality software features end-to-end.

Ensure code quality through automated tests, code reviews, and continuous integration pipelines.

Monitor application performance and troubleshoot production issues.

Contribute to architectural decisions and advocate for best practices in development.

Take ownership of features from concept through to delivery and support.

💻 Technical Requirements:

Strong experience in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern front-end frameworks (e.g. React, Vue, or Angular).

Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.

Experience with RESTful API design and integration.

Proficiency with server-side development using frameworks such as Node.js, .NET, Ruby on Rails, or similar.

Good understanding of relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL) and experience with schema design and query optimisation.

Familiarity with Git-based version control and collaborative workflows.

Experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing tools.

Knowledge of containerisation technologies (e.g. Docker) and CI/CD pipelines.

🌟 Preferred Experience:

Experience building and scaling web applications in production environments.

Working knowledge of authentication, authorisation, and web security standards (e.g. OAuth2, JWT, CORS).

Understanding of cloud-based deployment practices (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP).

Familiarity with agile methodologies and iterative product development.

Background working on cross-functional teams in start-up or high-growth environments.
