Previous experience in a workshop environment producing metal fabricated and machined components, and assemblies of all shapes and sizes for finishing is requisite.

You will also possess the following:

Competent in the use of airless and air assist spray equipment and two pack paint systems

Experience in an engineering jobbing environment

Able to follow instructions and work with minimum supervision

Be prompt, reliable and efficient.

Have a professional attitude and a sound work ethic

Work to high standards and have pride in your work

Work with the safety of yourself and your colleagues in mind at all times

A forklift licence would also be well regarded

Tasks Include:

grinding, sanding and cleaning surfaces of items to be painted

loading paint, oil, lacquer, varnish and rustproofing agents into spray equipment

connecting hoses to spray equipment and adjusting spray nozzles to required pressure

securing items to be sprayed within spray booths or placing them onto conveyors

directing spray guns to apply even coatings

moving items to drying areas and stacking them for further painting and packaging

cleaning nozzles, containers and hoses of equipment

may mix coating solutions and regulate their temperature
