An exciting career opportunity exists for a Light Vehicle Reconditioning Technician to join our team. Our fully equipped workshop is fitted out with the latest diagnostic technology.

The role of the Light Vehicle Reconditioning Technician is be a part of the Reconditioning Team that looks after our biggest customer and provide them with quality cars to sell in their yards.

THE POSITION:

This position would be suited to a highly motivated team player, who is a fully qualified light vehicle mechanic that no longer wants to replace engines and gearboxes, instead is looking for job satisfaction in the automotive industry by completing used car reconditioning inspections. Previous experience in used car reconditioning would be an advantage but we are also happy to train the right candidate. With strong interpersonal skills, you will be proactive in your daily responsibilities and have the ability to work unsupervised. With leading edge technology, sophisticated equipment you will have the opportunity to develop your skills in a professional working environment and learn all facets of the used car reconditioning process from start to finish. Working hours are Monday to Thursday 8.00am to 4.30pm with a 2pm early finish every Friday.

To be successful within this role you will possess the following skills and attributes:

Relevant Trade qualifications;

Excellent time management/organisational skills and attention to detail.

A willingness to learn and an appetite for challenge;

Manual C Class Drivers Licence.

Safety Certificate Licence or willing to obtain this licence
