About the Role

This role blends UX and UI design to deliver intuitive, accessible, and user-centred digital experiences. You'll work closely with stakeholders, analysts, and developers to design responsive interfaces, co-design user journeys, and support the ongoing evolution of design systems and service standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and analyse user requirements through stakeholder engagement
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using tools like Figma
• Facilitate co-design workshops and conduct usability testing
• Translate research insights into accessible, user-friendly solutions
• Support the design and implementation of scalable design systems
• Deliver design artefacts and documentation aligned with project goals

Skills & Experience

• Strong experience designing accessible, intuitive digital user interfaces
• Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD or similar tools
• Sound knowledge of WCAG 2.1 AA and accessible design best practices
• User-centred design mindset with skills in research and usability testing
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills across teams
• Ability to translate complex problems into clear design solutions

Australian Citizenship & ability to obtain Baseline security clearance is a mandatory requirement for this position.
