Travis McLeod from ri-kroot has been engaged to recruit an experienced yard hand with mechanical trade assistant experience, for an established engineering contractor based on the Northern Gold Coast.

Working with the logistics and crane crew, this is an autonomous role where you get to run your own department within a thriving business. With hours of 6am-2:30pm Monday to Friday with loads of overtime available, this is a great opportunity to get involved with a company who offer career progression and a fun environment where everyone loves coming to work.

Paying $40.00 per hour & OT & Super on a casual to permanent arrangement, the requirements for this role are;

• Experience dismantling machinery
• Experience with basic pump and hose fitting
• Cutting pipes, using hand tools and machinery
• Chemical handling
• Load and unload trucks, experience tying down
• Stock ordering of consumables and chemicals
• Manual work- loading, unloading, bending, lifting, and carrying
• Support with basic dispatch administration
• Support crane crew as required
• Operate forklift (LF ticket required)
