Group FP&A Manager | ASX-Listed Global Industrial Business
We’re recruiting on behalf of a leading ASX-listed industrial group for a Group FP&A Manager to join their Group Finance team in a critical 12-month role with strong potential to go permanent. This is a hands-on, high-impact opportunity suited to someone who thrives in large, complex businesses and enjoys delivering high-quality reporting, deep analysis, and driving continuous improvement across financial processes.
The Opportunity
As the Group FP&A Manager, you’ll be responsible for consolidating financial results, preparing monthly executive-level reporting packs, coordinating the forecast and budget process, and supporting capital investment governance. While you won’t be presenting to the ELT or Board directly, your work will shape the information they rely on to make decisions.
The role combines financial reporting, budgeting, capex tracking and system improvement. It’s ideal for someone technically strong, detail-oriented, and excited by the chance to help modernise reporting using tools like Power BI.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Consolidating monthly group results across three regions
- Coordinating flash reporting and full monthly reporting, including executive summary packs
- Leading the annual budget cycle and balance sheet forecasting process across business units
- Preparing analysis and commentary to support performance insights and business decision-making
- Supporting capex tracking, leasing reviews and business case assessments
- Improving templates and submission processes; ensuring quality and timeliness of data uploads (particularly into Hyperion)
- Working closely with divisional finance teams to guide forecasting and budget submissions
- Assisting with half-year and year-end investor presentations
- Using Excel and PowerPoint for core outputs, with a longer-term plan to shift toward Power BI dashboards
What You’ll Need
- CA or CPA qualification
- Strong experience in group finance roles within large, complex businesses (ideally ASX-listed or multi-site industrials)
- Advanced knowledge of Hyperion Planning and HFM is very highly regarded
- Highly proficient in Excel; confident working across large data sets
- Strong financial understanding across P&L, balance sheet and cash flow
- Experience managing end-to-end budget and forecast cycles
- Capex reporting experience and exposure to investment review processes
- Excellent coordination and stakeholder management skills
- Experience or interest in Power BI and data visualisation tools
