About the role

Templar Industries' is seeking experienced Diesel Fitters to join our team in the Mackay & Coal Fields of Queensland. This EOI is for casual positions, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work on a diverse range of mining and heavy equipment. As a Diesel Fitter, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing the machinery that powers our clients mining operations.

What you'll be doing

Conducting routine maintenance on diesel engines, transmissions, and other heavy equipment

Diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues with a range of mining machinery

Performing scheduled servicing and inspections to ensure optimal equipment performance

Working collaboratively with the maintenance team to identify and address problems efficiently

Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment

About the role

$75 - $80 p/h

Company vehicle

FIFO/DIDO - 7/7 Roster

Additional training & upskilling

Retention bonus $$$

Accommodation and meals provided

Requirements for the role:

Relevant trade qualifications (Australian recognised)

Experience on heavy machinery (Cat - Trucks, Graders & Dozers, Komatsu HME, Hitachi Liebherr - 3600/5600 diggers)

Current Driver's License

Current Coal Board Medical and Standard 11 – or willingness to obtain

Strong safety focused attitude

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
