Aircraft Engineer

We are looking for an experienced general aviation aircraft maintenance engineer.

The job

As an aircraft engineer you will be responsible for inspecting and maintaining aircraft systems, engines and structures. The job involves ensuring aircraft safety, operational efficiency, and compliance with regulations. You will work closely with other engineers, technicians, and specialists to maintain aircraft to a high standard of airworthiness.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, inspect and maintain aircraft systems to ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards
• Collaborate with other engineers, technicians, and specialists to optimize aircraft and workshop safety

Requirements

• Knowledge of aircraft systems and structures
• Proficiency in engineering software and tools
• Ability to conduct technical analyses and calculations
• Familiarity with industry regulations and safety guidelines
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Qualifications and Skills

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance and repair would be an advantage
• An Aircraft Mechanical Engineer licence issued by CASA or a foreign aviation authority would be an advantage
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
