About the role

Join the dynamic team at Fior Events' as a Hospitality Floor Staff member. In this casual role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of events at our venue in Parkville. With a focus on creating memorable experiences, you will be an integral part of delivering high-quality hospitality services.

What you'll be doing

Greeting and seating guests in a friendly and professional manner

Assisting with table service, including taking orders, delivering food and beverages, and clearing tables

Ensuring the event space is well-maintained and presentable at all times

Providing excellent customer service and responding promptly to guest requests

Working collaboratively with the broader events team to deliver a seamless experience

Adhering to all health, safety and hygiene standards

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role, preferably in an events or function setting

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with guests of all backgrounds

Excellent time management and the ability to work efficiently under pressure

A positive, friendly and professional attitude with a commitment to delivering high-quality service

Flexibility to work a range of shifts, successful candidates must be available for evenings and weekends

Responsible service of alcohol certification is required
