Senior Manager

In this diverse and hands-on position, you’ll work closely with clients to manage their financial needs, ensure compliance, and support their growth. This is a fast-paced environment that values initiative, collaboration, and a client-first mindset.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and deliver accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports

Manage end-of-month processes including journals, reconciliations, and closing activities

Oversee client portfolios and provide ongoing financial support

Prepare tax returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts, superannuation funds and companies

Ensure compliance with BAS, GST, FBT and other tax obligations

Manage junior staff members assisting you on client work

Support external audits on superfunds and liaise with auditors

About You

CPA or CA qualified (or in progress);

Registered Tax Agent desirable

Experience in public practice or a similar accounting role

Solid understanding of Australian tax law, SMSFs, and compliance obligations

Proficient in Xero and MYOB

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines

Passion for client service and continuous improvement

Experience using FYI document management, Active ledgers software is a bonus but not essential.
