Zitron Australia Pty Ltd is a fast growing, ventilation fan manufacturing company, suppling industrial fan units to the mining and road tunnel sector, based in the southern suburbs of Perth.

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Storeman to join the fast-growing Australian arm of an international group that is a global leader in the field of ventilation for underground mines, road and railway tunnels, and metro systems.

The company is part of a group that operates in over 80 countries on 5 continents. In Australia, the company has supplied the ventilation required for the construction and long-term operation of many of the nation’s major underground transport infrastructure projects.

The key responsibilities of the role include (but not limited to the following):

General warehouse, workshop area and yard maintenance and housekeeping

Loading and unloading of delivery vehicles

Day-to-day inventory management

Materials Receipt & Dispatch

Stacking shelves / racking with products

Keep production lines supplied and fill empty containers and packaging materials as needed

Keeping accurate records of purchase orders, receivables, dispatch, back-orders and outgoings in our ERP system

Picking, packing and unpacking pallets, small and large boxes, containers and large bulk packages of products

Assembling various types of material packages from a packing list

Maintain accurate records and documentation

Participate in all assigned duties relating to the store development and planning program

Assisting in all areas of the warehouse, workshop and other duties as required for the operation of the business

Ensure warehouse, yard and working areas are kept clean and safe at all times

Qualifications & experience

A strong focus on customer service

A strong commitment to OH&S and following policies and values

Experience using ERP systems

Must be physically fit & active to perform duties effectively

Good literacy and numeracy skills with good attention to detail

Working knowledge with MS Word and Excel is an added advantage

Well organised and ability to prioritize workloads and able to work to tight deadlines

The ability to work individually and work together in a team environment

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Have a positive "can do" attitude

Honest and Reliable

Previous experience in warehouse and dispatch role or in a similar role highly regarded

An open and current Driver's License

A current forklift license (Desirable)

Certificates in Warehousing (Desirable)
