The team at Bara Electrical are currently looking for an Purchasing Officer & Storeman to join our growing team in Carlisle. This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm or 7am - 3pm.

As we specialise in the Real Estate Industry, we welcome applicants with Real Estate knowledge, or who may have worked within property management.

What a typical day looks like…

Working within a team of electricians and office staff

Main point of contact for all warehouse and stock-related needs

Ordering/Organising parts and materials required for jobs

Managing stock levels and all aspects of the warehouse

Preparing van stock items for technicians

Receiving deliveries from suppliers

Following up on backordered or delayed items with suppliers

Maintaining and updating internal inventory systems

Completing deliveries and collections off site when required

Liaising with subcontractors during busy periods

Assisting the team with urgent part requests throughout the day

Keeping the warehouse clean, safe, and well-organised

About You

If you pride yourself on exceptional customer service and you have a good attitude you could be a great next addition to our team.

Our successful candidate will have experience in a similar field and also be/have:

Computer literate with a basic understanding of MS Office

Previous job management software experience (specifically Aroflo) is highly regarded but not essential

Comfortable working independently as well as in a team environment

Able to multitask on the computer and taking phone calls

A willingness to learn and improve your skillset and approach
