About the role

We're on the lookout for an experienced Maintenance Fitter/Leading Hand to join our dedicated team at King Springs', located in Molendinar on the Gold Coast. In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for the maintenance and repair of a range of industrial machinery, playing a key part in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our manufacturing plant.

Your Responsibilities

As part of the our team, you will:

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair a variety of industrial machinery and equipment

Perform scheduled preventive maintenance tasks to minimise downtime

Fabricate and modify parts as needed to keep machinery running efficiently

Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities

Collaborate with the production team to minimise disruptions

Provide guidance and mentorship to junior maintenance staff

What we're looking for:

To succeed in this role, you'll ideally bring:

At least 5 years’ experience as a Maintenance Fitter in a manufacturing or industrial setting

Proven ability to lead a small team with strong communication and leadership skills

A mechanical mindset and strong problem-solving skills

Proficiency in reading technical diagrams and manuals

The ability to work both independently and within a team

Relevant trade qualifications or certification

Skills highly regarded for the role:

Hydraulic and Pneumatic experience

Welding skills

Forklift and Overhead Gantry Crane Licenses

Hands on experience in maintaining production plant and equipment

A proactive attitude toward machine efficiency and process improvement

A commitment to safety and a tidy, detail-oriented work style

Must be physically fit,
