The opportunity has arisen for an Accounting Junior/Graduate to commence and build a career in Public Practice under the guidance of a Senior Partner. Be exposed to many facets of accounting and working with clients while developing your career in a well-respected and friendly team environment. This is a rare and highly desirable opportunity.

Our client is a long-established boutique CA firm in Subiaco with 5 professional staff. Parking is provided as is training. Clients of the Practice are medium businesses, Trusts, Individuals and SMSF’s coming from a range of sectors throughout WA.

The Role:

A general tax/accounting role, preparing tax returns, management of account data entry (coding and entering) up to trial balance

Monthly/Quarterly processing of client accounts to trial balance

Revision and preparation of Activity Statements and Quarterly Reports

Preparation of Income Tax Returns and Financial Statements

Helping out with general client queries

Exposure to SMSF’s and Reporting

If you have excellent English, solid academic results, 6 months + experience in an office environment working with taxation/finance and you are keen to learn and build a career as an accountant in Public Practice, this is the opportunity for you.

Excellent salary: Up to about $70,000 plus super

9am – 5pm Monday to Friday
