Contract WHS Advisor – Immediate Start | Flexible Location with Travel to Dubbo Region -Step into a high-impact safety leadership support role.

We’re looking for a hands-on, experienced WHS professional who’s ready to hit the ground running and make a real difference.

Our client, a busy regional organisation, needs a capable WHS Advisor to provide immediate operational support and help drive safety improvements on the ground. You’ll work closely with the WHS team and leadership to ease the pressure during a demanding period, offering practical guidance and a steady hand.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Supporting WHS team leads with day-to-day activities.
• Coaching and mentoring safety team members.
• Helping maintain the WHS Management System whilst driving continuous improvement
• Managing internal stakeholder communication
• Being available to be on site 1 to 3 days per week, with some flexibility.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven WHS experience in local government, construction or similar.
• Confidently working independently and providing a leadership support role.
• Willingness to travel to the Dubbo region regularly (travel & accommodation covered)
• A collaborative, pragmatic, and approachable style with sound interpersonal skills.
• Experience implementing WHS Management Systems.
• Tertiary WHS Qualifications and at least 5 years experience in a similar sector.

The Offer:
