The SDA Newcastle and Northern Branch covers the NSW Central Coast, Newcastle, and Hunter Valley regions. About the Role:
The SharePoint and CRM Specialist is a fixed term two-day week contract position responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of SharePoint environments and CRM systems to support the organisation’s operations and improve workflow efficiency. This role involves managing site architecture, permissions, content organisation, and integration with other business applications.
Responsibilities:
Designing, configuring, and maintaining SharePoint sites, libraries, lists, and workflows
Managing user permissions and ensuring data security and compliance within SharePoint environments
Customising and optimising CRM platforms to meet business needs, including data management, reporting, and automation
Integrating SharePoint and CRM systems with other enterprise tools to streamline processes and enhance collaboration
Troubleshooting issues, providing technical support, and training staff on SharePoint and CRM usage
Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and implement solutions that improve operational efficiency
Documenting system configurations, procedures, and best practices
This role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The SharePoint and CRM Specialist relies on technical expertise and sound judgment to deliver high-quality solutions and reports directly to the Branch Secretary.
Preferred Skills, Qualifications & Experience:
Advanced SharePoint expertise: Site architecture, permissions, workflows, content management, and integration with Microsoft 365 tools.
CRM proficiency: Experience with platforms such as Salesforce and HubSpot desirable.
Data management: Strong skills in data structuring, migration, and reporting across SharePoint and CRM systems.
Process automation: Familiarity with tools like Power Automate, Power Apps, and other workflow automation solutions.
Technical troubleshooting: Ability to diagnose and resolve system issues efficiently.
User training and support: Experience in developing user guides and delivering training sessions.
Project management: Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects, prioritise effectively, and meet deadlines.
Communication skills: Clear and professional verbal and written communication for working with stakeholders and end users.
Security and compliance awareness: Understanding of data protection, access control, and regulatory requirements.
